WATCH: Brett Eldredge Sings Tear-Jerking ‘Best Man Song’ at Brother’s Wedding
I’d hate to be the person to give a speech after Brett Eldredge…and that’s because he just took the whole “Best Man Speech” to another level. Instead of giving the typical and usually-awkward speech with a few jokes at the groom’s (his brother’s) expense, Brett chose to right a song. A really really beautiful song.
Here are some of the lyrics:
“When you start a family of your own,
I hope your kids run wild like we did back at home.
Bafrefoot in the grass, never think we’d grow up as fast,
And then we did, and here we are.
I sit here as your brother, your best friend til the day I leave
Singing you my heartfelt best man speech.”
So, grab a tissue and take a listen.
I’m not crying, you’re crying…
