HOA Tells Family To Take Down Their Christmas Decorations
A family in Texas was told by their HOA to take down their Christmas decorations. They put up their decorations on November 1st and the HOA sent them a letter days later telling them to take them down. The letter said they needed to take them down until, quote, “closer to the holiday season.” The letter didn’t say when it was ok to put up decorations and the family has said they will not follow the policy. They said, “We’re not going to do it. It’s the Christmas spirit. We’re not going to be forced by the HOA to take it down.”
