Did you know that there is a stuffed toy hidden somewhere in the Trader Joe’s store for kids to find?
I’ve never even heard of this before.
Around four years ago, a comment on Reddit by a Trader Joe’s manager revealed that a stuffed animal is usually hidden somewhere in the stores. The reason: to give kids a scavenger hunt while the adults are shopping!
What a great idea!
Obviously, kids and parents love this!
The TodayShow got a hold of a company spokesperson on Wednesday who confirmed the rumor, adding that many of their locations participate in the game. Not sure if the ones here in Tampa or St. Pete do, but I’m guessing after this article, they all will now.
When the toy is found, the child can present it to an employee who will hand over a special treat.
Next time you head into Trader Joe’s with the kiddos….ask them if they have a stuffed animal hidden somewhere?
