Launa

Weekdays 10AM-3PM

If you’re heading to the beach this weekend…just wanna let ya know what you might encounter.

The people who are in charge of tracking sharks say a 15-foot great white shark weighing more than 2,000 pounds has entered the Gulf of Mexico (cue Jaws music).

This shark has been cruising down the coast from Canada.

It’s a  female shark, named Unama’ki, and she was swimming just south of Key West on Saturday. Her tracker was pinging west of the Dry Tortugas islands on Monday.

She’s coming to Tampa!!!

I’m out.  I’ll swim in the pool.

Check out how spread out all the white sharks we just tagged in Nova Scotia are. They’ve got a good chunk of the east coast covered right now.
