IT LOOKS LIKE IT’S GOING TO RAIN, WILL THE TAMPA PIG JIG STILL TAKE PLACE?
Yes, the Tampa Pig Jig is a rain or shine event! So pack your ponchos and prepare for a little dancing in the rain. Also, please remember that for the safety and viewing pleasure of all of our guests, umbrellas are prohibited.
On that note, your safety and security is always their number one priority. They will carefully monitor weather patterns and consult with officials regarding event details. Should extreme weather arise, announcements will be made via Tampa Pig Jig social channels. Follow them @TampaPigJig.
ARE TICKETS AVAILABLE AND SAFE TO PURCHASE THROUGH THIRD-PARTY RESELLERS, OR OTHER INDIVIDUALS?
Tampa Pig Jig is a hot ticket, but that also means that someone may be out there trying to ruin the fun.
BUYERS SHOULD BEWARE OF BUYING TICKETS ANYWHERE OTHER THAN DIRECTLY THROUGH THE TAMPA PIG JIG.
Please only consider purchasing resale tickets from someone you personally know, and note that tickets are void after use. With a sold out event, that means if your same ticket is used by someone else to gain entry to the venue before you arrive, you will be turned away at the gate. They cannot guarantee entry for tickets purchased through a third-party site or reseller. Please help us ensure a safe and enjoyable event for all of our guests by avoiding suspicious transactions!
DO CHILDREN NEED A TICKET?
Children 12 years old and under do NOT need a ticket to enjoy the 2019 Tampa Pig Jig.
HOW MUCH ARE BEER + BBQ TICKETS AND WILL THEY BE AVAILABLE AT THE GATE?
A limited number of Beer + BBQ tickets will be available to the 2019 Tampa Pig Jig and include your ticket to get in, plus an unlimited craft beer and barbecue sampling experience from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. on event day - all for only $50! This is package is expected to sell out in advance, and will not be available at the gate. Purchase in advance by visiting our ticket page.
IF I HAVE VIP TICKETS, CAN MY CHILD ACCESS THE VIP AREA AS WELL?
Kids 12 and under who have been admitted for free can join you in any area that your designated ticket category permits. Any children over the age of 12, must have the appropriate ticket level to join you in private/VIP areas.
IS THERE FOOD AND DRINK FOR PURCHASE OUTSIDE VIP?
Absolutely! Curtis Hixon Park will feature vendors throughout selling food, beer, wine, sodas, liquor and more.
ARE DOGS ALLOWED?
Dogs are allowed in the General Admission area ONLY and they must be leashed and picked up after at all times.
WHAT ITEMS ARE PROHIBITED AT CURTIS HIXON PARK?
For ease of accessing the Tampa Pig Jig, guests are encouraged to travel as lightly as possible. The following items are not permitted on event day:

Bags larger than 12x12x12 inches, backpacks or wrapped packages
- Umbrellas

Cameras with lenses smaller than 4” will be permitted, but camera bags will not be permitted.

Selfie Sticks

iPads and GoPros

Binoculars are permitted, but binocular bags are not permitted.

Video or audio recording devices

Laser pointers

Weapons of any kind

Bottles, cans, or containers of any kind

Sharp objects, sticks or poles of any kind

Pepper spray or mace

Coolers or outside food or beverage items

Chairs, folding chairs or any other type of individual chair for use

Large banners or signs, banners or signs with objectionable language, banners or signs on a pole of any kind
Please note, prohibited items discovered inside the designated area or any items left unattended for any amount of time are subject to confiscation. Prohibited items discovered during security inspections at the checkpoints must be either returned to the owner’s vehicle or discarded. There are no lockers or safekeeping locations offered at the event.
ARE THERE DESIGNATED ADA SEATING AREAS?
Yes, the Tampa Pig Jig strives to promote access and equity for all. Differently-abled patrons are able to access Curtis Hixon Park through our main entrances located at the East end of the park, closest to Ashley Dr. A reserved ADA section is available for your comfort, and is located towards the front of the main stage. The ADA section is wheelchair accessible and provides seating for those who need it. Patrons requiring ADA access may bring up to two (2) guests with them into the reserved area. Due to space limitations, access is available on a first-come, first-served basis. WHAT IS THE TAMPA PIG JIG’S ALCOHOL ORDINANCE?
All Tampa Pig Jig guests must adhere to the following rules:

No outside alcohol will be allowed in the event.

Guests who are obviously impaired will not be admitted through the event checkpoint at the discretion of event management.

You must be at least 21-years-old to purchase alcohol. All alcohol sales require a government issued photo ID as proof of age.
- No Identification; No Alcohol.
IS THERE A RIDESHARE DROP-OFF AND PICK-UP AREA?
Fans are encouraged to celebrate responsibly and utilize rideshare services such as Uber and Lyft when attending the Tampa Pig Jig. For your convenience, guests using taxis, limos and rideshare vehicles can be picked up or dropped off in front of Curtis Hixon Park on Ashley Drive in our designated rideshare lane.
ARE THERE DESIGNATED PARKING AREAS?
There is not a designated parking area for the Tampa Pig Jig, but a number of public and private parking structures throughout downtown Tampa are available to accommodate fans attending the event. Primary parking structures include:

Please remember to also check any meters and follow enforcement guidelines.
ADA accessible parking will be available in all downtown parking garages and lots. Accessible parking spaces are available on a first come, first served basis. Vehicles must have a state-issued disabled hangtag or license plate to park in designated spots. Patrons will also be able to pick up and drop off guests directly in front of Curtis Hixon Park on Ashley Drive in our reserved lane.
