Tampa will host Super Bowl LV in 2021, which seems like a long time from now but it will be here before we know.

The Tampa Bay Super Bowl LV Host Committee held a news conference this afternoon to kickoff the journey and showed off the new logo. I wish I could’ve been in that room.

The news conference that was held at Raymond James Stadium and involve an unveiling of the host committee logo. Tampa Mayor Jane Castor, Tampa Bay Sports Commission Executive Director Rob Higgins, County Commissioner Ken Hagan, and Tampa Bay Buccaneers owner Bryan Glazer are all planning to be at the event.

I would love to know what they are doing to prepare Tampa. I remember when the Super Bowl was here in 2009, traffic was terrible. We will just have to wait and see what they discuss… I hope 10 lane highways!
