There has been a lot of heavy rains this week and you know what that means…
LOTS of Flooding!
According to WUSF, the National Weather Service in Tampa has issued a Flood Watch for all of west-central Florida through Friday morning, with particular attention being paid to several rivers in the region. This includes: the Tampa Bay area, Lakeland, Sarasota, Bradenton and The Villages. Rivers are expected to rise and streets are flooding already. Rivers prone to additional flooding are the Hillsborough River, Alafia River, Horse Creek, Myakka River, and Peace River. Stay safe out there, flooding is no joke. Especially since school is in session and we are in peak rain season, things can get a little crazy.
