Christian Larsen just had the best birthday ever and it's all thanks to a high school football team. Larsen had begged his mother, Lindsay, to throw him a ninth birthday party so he could invite all of his friends. Well, she did, but unfortunately only 1 person RSVP'd.

Christian, who has autism, attends Hillsdale Elementary in Meridian, Idaho. At the end-of-school picnic, Lindsay said she saw how people treated her son differently and told him "no" when asked to come to his birthday.
On May 31, Lindsay decided to post about the lack of RSVP's to her son's birthday on Facebook. Thankfully, her friend Blythe Ben-David stepped in to make a birthday miracle happen.

A local football coach saw the post and decided to help! He asked his players if they'd be interested in going to Christian's birthday.

"The players jumped at the opportunity," Holtry wrote in an email to CNN. "They were ready and willing to celebrate with Christian. Within seconds of a sent text they were 100 percent in. No hesitation whatsoever."
