Dollar Tree To Sell Alcohol

Family Dollar has announced they’ll be expanding the refrigeration and cooler sections of Dollar Tree stores, and with that they’ll be adding the sale of alcohol.

Dollar Tree is adding alcohol to almost 1,000 Family Dollar stores as part of an overhaul and to help boost sales. They will also be rolling out more items that are priced above a dollar.

“As the Company tests lifting the restriction on the $1 price point, it is not raising retail on its current assortment of items priced at $1,” the retailer said in a press release. “Customers will see new Dollar Tree Plus! items added to the Dollar Tree offering.”
