Can you try and shut your phone off this week?
If you’re able to partake in “National Screen Free-Week”…well, I’m a little jealous, because I can’t. I would love to tell my boss, hey, I’m celebrating National Screen Free Week….but I don’t think that will go over very good.
April 29 through May 5 is National Screen-Free Week. No one can just shut off their phone for an entire week…so they are asking people for an hour or two. So swap an hour of YouTube for an hour spent outside; It’s super easy to participate: just swap a screen for literally anything else.
Screen-Free Week is an annual event, inviting people to “play, explore and rediscover the joys of life beyond ad-supported screens.” Thousands of families, schools, and communities are taking part, putting down their entertainment screens for seven days.
Try and remember this week…. do something else instead of sitting on your phone.
