As if being down 2-0 in a series many expected them to sweep, the road to the Stanley Cup might have hit another bump for the Tampa Bay Lightning.
The Lightning’s Nikita Kucherov has been suspended for one game according to NHL Player Safety. This came after a hit Kucherov delivered in Friday’s game on Markus Nutivaara.
The series now shifts to Ohio for two games. The Tampa Bay Lightning lost the first two games of the series at home. Two losses on the road at Columbus would be an awful end to their historic season.
