Well…this sure isn’t something you see every day.

Two thieves who stole a statue of a lion from outside a home in West Chester, PA had a change of heart after police posted surveillance video. The statute was taken from a residence on Wednesday, but check this out… on Friday, police posted a new video of the thieves returning the lion statue, plus  they left behind a bouquet of flowers and a card!!!

Must have had a change of heart….I’m glad they did and I’m sure the family is too!

Lion Statue Bandits WCPD is looking to identify these two individuals who removed a Lion Statue from in front of a residence in the Borough. If you have any information or know these two subjects please contact WCPD at 610-696-2700. Now watch them return it!

So... Soon after we posted the video of the lion statue being taken from a residence in the Borough, it was returned... with flowers and a card... We thank everyone who shared the video and to the two fellas, smart move to return the property. The owner is grateful the statue was returned.#WCBPD#backhome#cameraseverywhere
