The moment I’ve been waiting for a chance to walk around my favorite movie franchises FINALLY gets a release date.
The Walt Disney Company has revealed the opening dates for its two Star Wars-themed lands.
Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge will open at Disneyland on May 31, and then at Disney World on August 29. That is less than 6 months away!!!
It was announced during Disney’s annual shareholders meeting.
According to Bay News Nine, The land will open in phases. Phase one will include the opening of the shops, eateries and one of the land’s new attractions, Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run. Later in the year, Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance will open as part of phase two.
Galaxy’s Edge will have AWESOME rides that I am very excited to ride including—Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run, a flight simulator ride, and Star War: Rise of the Resistance, a dark ride.
The lands will be mostly identical, except for a few differences. In California, Galaxy’s Edge will have three entry points. At Disney’s Hollywood Studios, the land will have two. I’m a little jealous that California gets to have their’s first… Maybe they are saving the best for last.
