He headlined WrestleMania 2 with Hulk Hogan in the steel cage. This morning WWE fans are waking up to hear the news that 80's pro wrestler King Kong Bundy has died. His real name was Chris Pallies. King Kong Bundy was such a big attraction back in the 80s that the name Bundy was used in the TV show Married With Children for Al, Peg, Kelly and Bud. Bundy even made an appearance on the show.

There's no word on his cause of death. King Kong Bundy was just 61. His family shared the news this morning on Facebook. I was fortunate to work a couple shows with him back in the 90s when I was a ring announcer. It was still that time when some still through pro wrestling was real and the characters were mean in real life. Bundy was a super nice guy who always surprised fans when he gladly posed for pictures and signed an autograph.
