Yep, you read that right.. “Thor” will be playing “Hulk” in a new biopic based on Hulk Hogan.
Hollywood Reporter heard from sources that the movie will focus on Hogan’s origin story, his rise to fame as a wrestler and the Hulkamania that followed. Hulk Hogan will be played by Chris Hemsworth.
Hogan was born in Georgia but grew up in Tampa and started wrestling in Florida. He still has a home in Clearwater.
Hollywood Reporter says the film will not touch on Hogan’s sex tape scandal involving Tampa radio personality Bubba the Love Sponge or other personal conflicts. As far as we know…
According to Hollywood Reporter, the film will be streaming on Netflix when it is done.
Maybe they will take the action here to Clearwater and film in Hogan’s home and where his career took flight.
We will have to wait and see…
