Gunfire Reported As Mayor of Port Richey Arrested
Channel 8 reports this morning that Port Richey Mayor Dale Massad was arrested this morning at his home. He’s charged with practicing medicine without a license. They say that when a SWAT team showed up, 10 News reports that Florida Department of Law Enforcement spokesperson Angela Stark says it was Massad fired shots. The Tampa Bay Times reports that no one was hurt.
The warrant was served shortly before 5AM. They’ve been working on this case for 4 months according to the report.
