March 1, 2019 Update:
The latest rumor on Twitter is that there will be a press conference on Thursday to make the official announcement that WrestleMania 36 will be held in Tampa on April 5, 2020. We’ll have to wait and see!

Original story from February 8, 2019:

A while back we let you know Tampa put in a bid to host WrestleMania. It was thought at the time that if it happened, it’d be in 2023, 2024 or 2025. This past August, a survey revealed Tampa was on a short list of potential hosts. Now there are reports that Tampa could host World Wrestling Entertainment’s biggest event of the year as soon as next year.

Pro wrestling writers report Tampa could host WrestleMania 36. Ringside News reports there’s an 80% likelihood WrestleMania next year will be held in Florida. Orlando had WrestleMania a couple years back. Miami and Jacksonville could also be options.

Last year it was announced Raymond James Stadium will host a team in Vince McMahon’s revamp of the XFL.
