So, there may be an extended partial government shutdown and that has caused people to become concerned about getting a tax refund check. The White House made a statement that tax returns will happen even if the shutdown is extended.
Refund checks will still be printed if the shutdown drags on, but the shutdown could make it challenging for taxpayers to contact the IRS.
