Now I wish I would have done this before I spent about 3 hours taking down the Christmas Tree this year!
Now…Before you get too excited, this Christmas tree hack only works on an artificial tree.
Some mom in the great state of Minnesota (lol…I’m from there) came up with the idea of keeping all of the decorations on the tree and wrapping it tightly in plastic. Think like Saran Wrap but the industrial size that movers use on your furniture.
She said decorating the tree is fun when the kids are young but once they get older no one wants to decorate the tree anymore and it takes time to decorate it and take it down. I take every decoration off and wrap them up and put them in boxes…ugh. Takes forever!
You’re probably thinking…well…where am I going to store that? Well… personally, I have about 6 plastic tubs in my garage holding these decorations…so if they stay ON the tree… I don’t need the tubs. Genius Idea!
