Great… just in time for diet season

I love me some Girl Scout Cookies…I’m the one who buys a bunch of boxes and puts them in the freezer so they will last all year….and of course by March they are gone.

We’ve got a new cookie coming this year!!!   We still will be able to get all our favorites like Thin Mints, Caramel deLites, aka Samoas, and Trefoils’ Shortbread. But…a new Carmel Chocolate Chip cookie is also going to be available.  If you’re a fan of salty-sweet things… this will be your favorite!   Plus, the new cookies are completely gluten-free, which means more people will purchase these.   The only hiccup….the Caramel Chocolate Chip cookie unfortunately won’t be available in every market, so I’d contact your local Girl Scout troop to see if they will be offering the new choice this year.

Launa is part of Tampa Bay's Hometown Morning Krewe on 99.5 WQYK. She has been with the station for 7 years and joined J.R. and Kevin on the morning show 4 years ago.
