They won Best Bakery In Orlando by Orlando Weekly this year and now they've come to St. Pete.

St. Pete Rising reports that Valhalla Bakery has opened its first Tampa Bay location in St. Petersburg at 1113 Central Avenue. The thing I wanna try? "The YOLO." It's 2 chocolate chunk cookies with bourbon buttercream inside. Or try the "Death Bar," a brownie with a layer of peanut butter crunch in the middle with Oreos, chocolate chips and ganache on top. One online review from a visitor from France said the Death Bar is incredible: "I mean, logically speaking a peanut butter and chocolate bar cannot really be bad in any iteration, but this bar was divine."

The recipes are all vegan, but the owner tells St. Pete Rising "I'm not trying to make healthy vegan desserts. You'll never see me use kale in a cookie."

Their original Orlando location has over 200 reviews on Yelp with 4.5 out of 5 stars. Here are some shots their fans have posted to social media.
