Lauren Alaina needs your prayers.

As you know, back in August, the country star backed out of a show in New York, citing a family emergency.

Now, Lauren has canceled two more performances slated for this weekend.

In a tweet posted on her Twitter account, her team said that another family emergency will sideline her this weekend, and she will no longer be performing on the Reason to Drink Another Tour, nor will she take the stage during another show this weekend. Both shows are in Texas.

The tweet also indicated that Lauren was very appreciative of her fans and their everlasting support.

While the post did not explicitly say that the cancellations were due to her ailing stepfather, it was implied.

Towards the end of August, it was revealed that Lauren’s stepfather had been diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer and was currently going through treatment.
