The next episode of CMT Crossroads features Zac Brown sharing the stage with teen pop idol Shawn Mendes. I get it. It's ratings. Ladies love this Shawn Mendes kid. But this is just one of those combos that just doesn't create magic for me. But then again, I'm a dude. I'm sure every Facebook comment when I post this will be guys complaining about how country is too pop.
The episode was filmed last month. It airs October 24 at 10PM. BEFORE you judge, take a listen and tell me your honest opinion. I'm a huge ZBB fan, but I think I'll pass on this one. I'm not a Shawn Mendes hater. His duet he did with Justin Timberlake last month was a good fit. I just am not feeling this. Curious to see what you think.
