The new music is out. It was released moments ago at midnight. Make no mistake about it. The Band Perry has definitely left country music behind. The new 5 songs are miles away from their country roots. But if you’re an electronic music fan, you might enjoy. It’s not easy for a band to completely overhaul their sound. You have to create a new fan base and start from scratch. Here are the first 5 new songs.

It’s been an interesting few days for fans of The Band Perry. This weekend, the group erased all of the posts from their social media accounts and unfollowed everyone except the 3 members of the group. They then posted some provocative sexier photos that show the band in a way we’ve never seen them before. Gone is the small-town wholesome simple look they’ve been known for. The new image of the band members left fans wondering what’s on the horizon musically.
We didn’t have to wait long to find out. New music is on the way Friday. The Band Perry has five new songs for you to hear. The EP is called “Coordinates.” They released music last year that leaned more pop than country. An appearance at this year’s Florida Strawberry Festival was cancelled without much explanation. It seems the mysterious absence is over now though. Looking at the new image on social media makes us ask the obvious question. Have they left country music behind for good? We’ll apparently find out Friday.
