Original Story:
So how has life changed since being featured on the the A&E hit TV show Live PD? Corporal Steven Walker and Deputy Nick Carmack from the Pasco County Sheriff’s Office were guests on the TV show Daytime recently.
Walker and Carmack talked about what life is like now that they get recognized and answer the big question many have… is Pasco County being featured on the show a good thing? Some have criticized the department for allowing our area to be a part of Live PD, saying that the it paints a bad picture for those who’ve never been to Pasco County. Walker and Carmack see the big benefit is that Live PD shows transparency with what is happening out on the streets. And they say it gives civilians a better idea of what law enforcement has to deal with.

They also discuss in the interview what we don’t see on Live PD that can’t be aired. The two big things they try to avoid is showing fatalities or children caught up in bad situations.
Both say they were both fans of the show COPS back in the day.
Recently a business in New Port Richey had a message for those who have been featured on the show who think they’re now TV stars.
