Unvaccinated Child In Pinellas County With Measles

A heads up if your live in Pinellas County as reports of an unvaccinated child who contracted the contagious measles virus has surfaced.
The Florida Department of Health and local county officials are trying to identify and notify people who could have been exposed. The child was diagnosed at Morton Plant Hospital in Clearwater.

The case is expected to be isolated, and no additional precautions are being taken in local schools or other public places but keep in mind that health department keeps encouraging all residents and visitors (who have not been immunized) to get vaccinated.
