Tampa Bay’s Morning Krew

Weekdays 5:30am - 10:00am

LONDON, ENGLAND - JULY 02: In this photo illustration, bubbles produced by C02 are created in a glass of beer on July 2, 2018 in London, England. Supplies of C02, which is a byproduct of ammonia have been running out over the last couple of months after planned shutdowns at some of the plants. The gas has a number of uses, which are all being affected by the shortage including carbonating fizzy drinks and sterilize hospital equipment. (Photo by Dan Kitwood/Getty Images)

The timing is interestingly perfect for this… football season is kicking off and the kids are going back to school. Both are great reasons to kick back and celebrate with a brew!

For years, you couldn’t buy beer or wine until noon on Sundays… one of the latest sales time in the Tampa Bay area.

After a county commission vote, you can now purchase beer and wine starting at 7 a.m., until 2 a.m. Monday, in unincorporated Polk County. There are no limits in bars or restaurants.

You still cannot buy liquor that early, but it’s a start! Enjoy! And enjoy responsibly…
