Bradenton.com reports that Jimmy Buffett is looking to put up hotels on Perico Island. The city council in Bradenton will meet next week to consider it.
The article goes on to say there would be a total of about 140 rooms, a pool, and restaurant. Wonder if there's a chance of getting a particular alcoholic drink with Tequila if this all goes through? Or maybe a cheeseburger. I don't know. I'm just throwing ideas out there.
Last year, Buffett made news about a retirement style community here in Manatee County.
