New Rule For Service Dogs In Publix Supermarkets
If you’ve been taking your dog shopping with you to Publix as a fake service dog and its not a “service animal,” beware. Florida grocery chain Publix is cracking down on not only that but also if you are putting the dog in the shopping cart with you. Absolutely! What good is a trained service dog if its not on the ground servicing you?
There are new signs up saying only service animals trained to help some customers with disabilities are allowed in the store. But there is a big change! The dogs are no longer allowed to sit and ride in the shopping carts for sanitary reasons.
Four on the Floor! @Publix new service animal policy. #stopdisabilityfraud #serviceanimals #servicedogs #enddisabilitydiscriminationhttps://t.co/Fjnmye5A5g pic.twitter.com/rSQbmiZ2jM
