Bronchitis and Sinusitis Way Up in 3 Tampa Bay Areas
It was a bad flu season. Now bronchitis and sinusitis are on the rise in a big way in 2 Tampa Bay communities. ABC Action News reports infections are up by about 800% in Wesley Chapel, 600% in Carrollwood and 300% in Citrus Park.
The viral infections don’t always require antibiotics. They can do more bad than good some doctors say. One told ABC Action News to just get some rest and “Just let it run its course.”
They say you should wash your hands often and try not to touch your face to avoid infection.
