July 13, 2018 Update:
And now news of another new route to the airport.
Save $50 on parking or Uber rides, skip the Howard Frankland drive, and get dropped off at check-in without bugging a friend who’ll secretly hate you for asking for a ride to the airport? I’m in.
The new 300X Airport bus that goes from Pinellas to the airport is up and running. The bus uses Ulmerton to go from Starkey Road to the Marion Transit Center in Tampa with a stop first at Tampa International. There are 9 trips a day from 6am to 6pm. There is no service on weekends. For the opening of the new route, PSTA is offering the ride for free for the first couple months.

We’re at the Ulmerton Park N Ride to kick off the brand NEW 300x airport service to @FlyTPA. Service is #FREE through August so come try it out! More info on the route here: https://t.co/IUIZCkDLDL #ModernTransit pic.twitter.com/CyAeA8Yjf8— PSTA (@RidePSTA) June 18, 2018
Great point. I’ll be asking them— Mark Sharpe (@MarkSharpeFL) June 18, 2018
We would love to do that and more. The main reason is does not operate on weekends and holidays now is ????. We’ve applied for funding to FDOT for help, but will still need ???? to match. Maybe @MarkSharpeFL can help with that!— PSTA (@RidePSTA) June 18, 2018
