Today, at the start of Memorial Day weekend, the Eli Young Band dropped a new single called "Love Ain't."

"Love Ain't" tells the true story of an American soldier who became a quadruple amputee after an explosion in Afghanistan.

In 2012, Taylor Morris lost portions of his legs, arm, and hand during the ordeal.

At the time of the explosion, Taylor Morris' then-girlfriend rushed to his bedside and stayed with him and motivated him throughout his recovery.

It wasn't easy, but it was worth it. Despite their world being turned upside down, their love survived.

It would have been easy for Taylor to let his soul die during his recovery, but with Danielle's love and encouragement, he persevered.

That same year, both Taylor and Danielle returned to their hometown of Iowa and were welcomed home by thousands of people.

A few years later, the couple tied the knot and vowed to spend the rest of their lives together.
