The Instagram Feature You’ve Been Waiting For
Facebook has it. Twitter has it. Now Instagram will too.
If you don’t want to offend that friend who posts too much, you don’t need to unfollow them and risk their wrath of “Why did you unfollow me’s”. Instagram is rolling out the mute function that Facebook and Twitter users have had for some time now.
Not everyone has it yet, but as you scroll through posts, when you see one from that over-posting friend of yours puts up, just mute them and until you change your mind, their posts won’t show up in your feed anymore.
The feature will roll out to users in the coming weeks, according to Business Insider.
