Great news for beer and donut lovers! Rejoice away!
Two Tampa Bay breweries have combined to make use of Krispy Kreme donuts in the brewing of their beers.
Both Hidden Springs Ale Works and Arkane Aleworks in Tampa, Florida are brewing beer with dozens of Krispy Kreme glazed donuts, while the second flavor is made out of the brands cream-filled donuts.
There is no official partnership between the breweries and the national donut chain but Krispy Kreme did give them their total support.
Hidden Springs founder Josh Garman told the Tampa Times
that two dozen donuts are used in each batch of brew for total of 12.5 ABV stout that’s “roasty” and “chocolatey,” with flavors of the glaze on the doughnuts as you drink! Yummy!
