SAN FRANCISCO - FEBRUARY 09: A sign stands outside of a McDonald's restaurant February 9, 2009 in San Francisco, California. Fast food chain restaurant McDonald's reported a 7.1 percent increase in same store sales for January as people look towards cheaper food alternatives in the weakening economy. Crime Stoppers has had a change of heart in regards to that Seminole Heights case reward money. Originally since the McDonald’s employee walked up to the cop instead of calling, technically she was ineligible to collect the cash. They met this afternoon and tonight announced the decision that they WILL pay their portion of the reward, which is $5,000. This is in addition to the $9,000 she received yesterday. Tampa PD is working with all the agencies involved that offered money to make sure she gets as much as possible for helping them find their man.
