It was a pretty dismal night for country music at the American Music Awards last week. Country music got what… 90 seconds of airtime? Well now we can move on and look forward to the real big night in the music industry… the 60th anniversary edition of The Grammy Awards will come to you live from New York City for the first time in 15 years.

Chris Stapleton and Little Big Town both got 3 nominations. Chris is up for Best Country Solo Performance, Country Song and Country Album. Little Big town are up for for Country Album (“The Breaker”), Country Song (“Better Man”) and Country Duo/Group Performance for “Better Man.”

Sam Hunt, Miranda Lambert, Midland, and Lady Antebellum all got 2 nominations.

Glen Campbell could also win a posthumous award for Best American Roots Performance.
