Polk County Jail Inmate Sends Hilarious Fake Letter To His Boss To Explain His Absence
Marco Sullivan won’t be at work today. Why? Because he’s on special assignment doing undercover work for the Polk County Sheriff’s Office. That’s at least what this letter said on official letterhead.

SANTA BARBARA, CA – JUNE 12: The Santa Barbara County Detention and Correctional Facility, one of two jails where singer Michael Jackson could be sent if the deliberating jury declares him guilty in his child molestation trial, is seen on June 12, 2005 in Santa Barbara, California. Jackson is charged in a 10-count indictment with molesting a boy, plying him with liquor and conspiring to commit child abduction, false imprisonment and extortion. David McNew/Getty ImagesHere we go again... another #OnlyInFlorida story for ya. Marco Sullivan won't be at work today. Why? Because he's on special assignment doing undercover work for the Polk County Sheriff's Office. That's at least what this letter said on official letterhead.
He must be working on this confidential mission behind bars.
The letter was an obvious fake with hilarious spelling errors and horrendous grammar. He apparently had his girl (who has plenty of felonies and prison time on her record) write the letter. Sullivan's bright idea to try to keep his job didn't work. Now he has more charges and will likely be absent from work a little longer.
Stay in school kids.
