A few weeks ago, a modern day (potential) love story captured the nation’s attention.

College students Michelle Arendas and Josh Avsec, both of whom attend Kent State University, had been messaging on Tinder for THREE YEARS and still hadn’t met in person. Tinder got wind of this and volunteered to send the pair on a trip to Hawaii so they could finally meet face to face. But before that happened, the students decided to meet in a lower pressure situation…. by choosing to go on Good Morning America together, of course.

The first encounter was super adorable, and we have high hopes for this pair. Check it out:

Hopefully, they felt comfortable enough with their first meeting that the trip to Hawaii will continue as planned!
