Users of OfferUp need to pay attention to seller ratings. A 19 year old former Busch Gardens employee was selling tickets that had already been used. She charged $200 for 6 tickets. She told buyers she worked for the park. That's true. She did. But not anymore. She was fired for stealing nearly $1,000 at a food kiosk according to ABC Action News.

OfferUp is a great app - I've used it for a year or two now and have had nothing but good transactions. But just like any other form of online shopping - eBay, Amazon, etc - it's important to read a seller's reviews and feedback.

Fortunately her last victim was an undercover cop.
