Channelside Fireworks Fell Short In Tampa

If you or anyone you know went down to Tampa's Channelside District for the 2017 July 4th fireworks celebration, odds are you were disappointed .

The event and fireworks begin at the scheduled  9:00 p.m. time but ended minutes later and without a grand finale. The crowd that did show up was very upset.

Officials said an "equipment failure" was to blame and that they were looking into the issue.
