Wow, what a story. In Pittsburgh tonight, a woman was threatening to jump off a bridge, according to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. She was walking across the bridge near the ballpark where the Rays were playing the Pirates.

A man saw her and asked what she was doing. She said she was looking for a good view, but then she got emotional. He held her back, even at one point while she dangled off the bridge.

Police arrived and they were able to handcuff her to the bridge so she woudln’t fall.

Who was this man who likely saved her life?

Tonight’s Rays/Pirates Umpire John Tumpane!
