SPCA Suncoast May Be Forced To Close
After 50 years serving the community, SPCA Suncoast might be forced to close for good. This non-profit shelter has always relied solely on donations. They do not accept funds from the government or from the national SPCA organization.
While SPCA Suncoast is grateful for generous supporters who donate cleaning supplies, food and funds, they are running out of money. Under a new shelter manager, SPCA Suncoast is running under a very tight budget, employs six people, and strives to be a “no-kill” shelter.
Short term, they are in need of at least $25,000 to remain in operation for a month or two. The money will help pay bills and go towards much needed repairs. CLICK HERE to donate, or help them with their GO FUND ME campaign.
