Florida Georgia Line On Writing Songs For Other Artists

The guys of Florida Georgia Line have certainly made their mark on the artist side of the music business, but they're increasingly making their mark on other facets of the business. The latest area they're enjoying success in? Writing songs for other artists.

Jason Aldean's "Burning It Down" was written in part by FGL's Brian Kelley and Tyler Hubbard, and was a product of the pair's song publishing business. "We were lucky enough to be a part of writing that song and, I don't know, it's just one of those things," Brian says through FGL's record label. "We kind of have a good radar, a good feel, for what's FGL and what's not, and what's still kind of good and maybe for somebody else. And we kind of like being on both ends of it. We love being artists, songwriters, and also being able to pitch a song to a friend, and it's cool to see a song really end up where it should."
