You Used It Hourly In The 90s And Now It's Going Away

It's a sign of the times. Technology moves so fast. We are constantly on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Snapchat. But chances are it's been a few years since you last logged in to your AOL Instant Messenger account.

AOL announced their chat platform is going away in December. Even if you don't have the app anymore (why would you?), for old time's sake you can still log in to your old AOL account and use AIM. When you sign in, there should be a box in the corner that lets you connect to go online one last time on Instant Messenger.

I signed on to mine last week out of curiosity. 3 of my 88 contacts were still online. The sad and kind of weird thing is - one of them was a good friend of mine who we lost a couple years ago.
