Updates from The Marc & Veronica Show with Greg Dee and ABC Action News:

Friday Morning 9/8/17

*With the approaching storm, make sure to be hunkered down by Saturday evening and plan to stay there through at least Monday afternoon

*We are still waiting on that extremely important turn. We are expecting Tropical Storm / Hurricane conditions in Tampa Bay.
* Southern counties (Sarasota, Highlands etc) expect deteriorating conditions Saturday night
* For the rest of us, the worst of it will happen approx sunset Sunday night --> Sunrise Monday
*Big concern - power outages. Plan ahead for a week in harder hit areas

Thursday Morning 9/7/17

*Not much change in the forecast track. However, it means we will see minimal tropical storm effects - stronger wind gusts inland. No need to evacuate just yet unless ordered to.

*Here's when we'll actually see the worst of the weather... Sunday into Monday:

Wednesday Morning 9/6/17

*Latest model shows a slight trend east. Greg Dee says if this track holds through today and tomorrow morning, we can remain more confident about this storm

Tuesday Morning 9/5/17

•Timing of the storm's turn is uncertain (may trend either east or to the gulf)
•Tampa Bay is likely to see an effect (intensity of rain/wind/storm up in the air
•Make sure to have Hurricane Kit ready
•National Weather Service updates come in at 5am/pm & 11am/pm
