Country Brings The Heat For Billboard Nominations

Blake Shelton could walk away from May's 2017 Billboard Music Awards with trophies for Top Country Artist and Top Country Album for If I'm Honest, honors helping to mark another impressive year for the superstar.

"It's been an exciting year – and one of the most gratifying of my career," he says through his publicist. "I moved to Nashville when I was 18 years old to be a country singer and chase my dreams, but I didn't have the capacity to dream up this reality. At the beginning and end of every day, it's because of the fans that we had such great success, so thank you!"

He's got stiff competition, though. Blake's Top Country Artist competitors are Florida Georgia Line, Keith Urban, Chris Stapleton and Jason Aldean.
