The follow up album to Jason Aldean's They Don't Know is officially in the works, the singer revealed to fans this week in a video posted on Twitter.
"We're in the studio, day one," he says, panning the room as a handful of musicians gear up for the session. "Got some pretty good stuff we're kicking off here with ... can't wait for you guys to hear it."
No word yet on a name for the project or when it might be released, but it will be his first for a record company other than Broken Music Group, for which he's recorded for more than a decade. German-based music conglomerate BMG acquired the company last month.
Look for Jason on the road in the meantime. His They Don't Know tour kicks off April 27 at the Huntington Center in Toledo, OH and will hit more than 30 cities nationwide. "I'm already feeling it,” he promised fans in a statement last month.
"We're going to spend some time switching the production up to be bigger and louder than anything we've ever done."
