SALT LAKE CITY - AUGUST 12: A Delta Airlines jet taxies for take-off at the Salt Lake International Airport August 12, 2005 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Yes, but don’t get too excited… as you can imagine, this is only for a few select flights so far and none of them leave or arrive from Tampa or Orlando.

But Delta is bringing back free meals on some long domestic flights. Only 12 routes will have them to start.

Most international flights still give meals out, but they disappeared on flights within the US almost 10 years ago.

Delta says they’ll start on flights between New York’s JFK and Los Angeles/San Francisco. On April 24, they’ll expand complimentary meals to other major domestic markets including Seattle, New York, Boston and Washington, D.C.
