Zac Brown has done some good works with his Camp Southern Ground, and now he’s being honored for it.

Brown will receive the Country Radio Seminar’s 2017 Tom Rivers Artist Humanitarian Award during the fete’s opening ceremonies on February 22 in Nashville.

Brown founded the inclusive camp in his native Georgia to allow youths with neuro-developmental disorders to mix with mainstream campers in a warm and welcoming environment in a state-of-the-art facility. Brown is also being honored for his commitment to the USO, the Robin Hood Foundation, MusiCares, Grammy U and Grammys on the Hill.

Previous CRS Artist Humanitarian Award recipients have included Garth Brooks, Brooks & Dunn, Reba McEntire, Vince Gill, Carrie Underwood, Lady Antebellum, Rascal Flatts, Toby Keith, Brad Paisley, Trace Adkins, Tim McGraw and Faith Hill, among others.
